If you're running into issues in the app on your iOS or Android device, try the following steps:
iOS
Force close the app and any apps running in the background
- Double-click the "Home" button.
- Swipe left or right to view running apps
- Swipe up to close an app
- Relaunch the Disney Movie Insiders app
Restart your device
- Hold down the "Sleep/wake" (on/off) button on your device for a few seconds.
- Move the slider on the screen to the right to turn off the device
- Once the device is completely powered down, turn it back on
- Try launching the Disney Movie Insiders app again
Update your device software
- From the Home menu, tap "Settings"
- Select "General", then tap "Software Update"
- Your device will check for and display available updates
Check for available free space on your device
- From the Home menu, tap "Settings"
- Tap "General" in the left column
- Select "About"
- Check "Available" to see free space on your device
Android
Force close the app and any apps running in the background
- Tap the "Recent Apps" on your device to view currently running apps
- Swipe to close apps
NOTE: These steps may be slightly different for older devices. Try selecting "Settings", then "Apps" to see your running apps.
Restart your device
- Hold down the power button (usually found on the right-hand side of the device)
- Select "Power Off", then "Turn Off"
- Once the device is completely powered down, turn it back on
Clear the app's cache
- Go to "Settings"
- Tap "Apps"
- Scroll until you find “Insiders”
- Tap “Storage”, then tap "Clear cache" (NOTE: Do NOT tap “Clear Data”)
Update your device software
- Go to "Settings".
- Select "About device"
- Tap "Software Information"
- Tap “Google Play system update”
Check for available free space on your device
- Go to "Settings"
- Select “Battery and device care”
- Tap "Storage"
